About us
Bloomfield Grey is the residential sales arm of Brooks Leney.
We specialise in the sale of middle to high-value properties throughout East Anglia, almost exclusively via digital marketing methods, with additional expertise in the sale and marketing of building plots, development sites and barns with planning consent. We are looking for a full-time negotiator or trainee negotiator to join our team based at Hintlesham, near Ipswich.
About the role
This busy role will involve working with the senior sales executive to support our clients throughout their house sale process. Your responsibilities will include managing enquires from buyers, arranging viewings, negotiating offers and overseeing sale chains through to completion. You will need to attend property viewings, therefore a driver’s licence and own vehicle is required.
The role involves some weekend work (on a rota basis) and commences with a six-month probationary period with a fixed salary. Subject to successful completion of the probationary period, there will be an opportunity to review your salary, based on your performance and the performance of the firm.

About you

To succeed in this role, you need to be conscientious and customer-focused, and enjoy working with people. You need to have excellent communications skills (both written and oral), attention to detail and a methodical approach to task management. You do not need any previous experience in estate agency as all training will be provided, although an interest in real estate will help you along.
