BPS – Payment Refunds

Many farming client have started to receive apparently random payments in to their bank accounts. These are Financial Discipline Mechanism (FDM) Refund Payments in relation to the FDM reductions made to BPS 2015 payments. These payments should be issued to BPS claimants who had a 2016 claim value of €2,000 or more and are being made over the next couple of weeks.

A remittance advice should follow the payment and it should be identified on that as ‘FDM reimbursement’. If any clients would like us to check the level of refunds they are receiving please contact one of our team
