Gwyn graduated from Harper Adams University, Shropshire, with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2013. On graduating, Gwyn moved from Sussex to Suffolk to work for a firm of land agents and auctioneers before moving to join a national firm.
Gwyn has spent eight years working for farmers and landowners, under various ownership structures, throughout Essex and Suffolk, providing professional advice on a wide range of rural property and business matters, such as land agency (buying, selling and letting), Basic Payment Scheme applications, valuations, compulsory purchase matters and landlord and tenant matters.
Gwyn qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2014 and as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2016 and is currently on the committee for the Deben Farm Club
Outside of work, Gwyn enjoys the countryside with his young family and enjoys shooting, running, cycling and golf .
